Wood Be Ltd was founded by owner and director Nick Pearson, whose passion for woodworking began at a young age while helping his grandfather build wooden dinghies.

Nick started his professional career in 2003, first qualifying as a bricklayer and joiner before moving into arboriculture, training as a tree surgeon, and later becoming a qualified tree inspector. With over 20 years of experience working with timber, trees, and construction, Nick brings a unique combination of craftsmanship and environmental knowledge to every project.

Nick believes that wood is one of the world’s most valuable natural resources — sustainable, renewable, versatile, and inherently beautiful. Inspired by this belief, he founded Wood Be Ltd to bring together the skills gained from college, professional training, hands-on experience, and the early influence of his grandfather.
